Chosen by God!

"What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?" (James 2:14 NLT)

While what God has for me is for me is true I must be obedient and be positioned. It's like believing God for a job but you don't send out any resumes. There's a part that God does and a part we do. He's always faithful to do His part so that leaves the responsibility on us to be where God is moving.

Ladies, if you're believing God for a husband pray that God gives you a wife's heart. He's not going to give you His king if you're not already His queen. And the same applies to men. He's not going to give His queen if you're not already His king. So before we ask for something let's make sure we're prepared to receive it! Some of our prayers are not being answered because we're just not ready for the answer. We can't handle it!

Never take for granted that because you pray, stand on the Word, and walk in faith that your answer is secure. You must also be prepared for the answer. Going back to my analogy about the job and the resume and prayer. You prayed. You didn't put out any resume's, or let anyone know you were looking for a job. You still don't have a job. Did God fail, or did you?
