Chosen by God!

It really is about perspective. Sometimes, a lot of times - in certain circumstances, it's harder to have God's perspective. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9 AMP)

You have moments when the Word, as you know it, doesn't appear to be working in your life. Yet there's the precious promise in Romans 8:28 that keeps you anchored.

“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” (Romans 8:28 AMP)

This faith walk requires determination and focus. If you lose either, you will stumble!

“Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack—rooted, established, immovable]. ” (I Peter 5:8-9a AMP)

This faith walk was never meant to be done alone. I am thankful for the three-fold cord, that's not easily broken.

“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” (Ecclesiastes 3:9-12 NLT)
