Chosen by God!

Let's continue to look at the impact we can make in the lives of others when we are willing to serve. There is a price we pay for giving of ourselves but there are great rewards also.

"So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten." (John 6:12-13 NKJV)

I'm only one person. There's so much pain and in need in the world. Can I make a difference? How many times have you asked yourself this question? How many times has the need overwhelmed you, causing you to do nothing?

If each one of us would reach out to one person and make a difference in their lives we could impact the world. Maybe one of us could not do much, but many "ones" of us can do a whole lot. Don't let the needs paralyze you and cause you to do nothing. Also, don't think that someone else is handling it. Do what you can, when you can, where you can.

If Jesus can multiply two fish and five loaves, and feed over 5,000 people can you imagine what He can do with what's in our hands? Remember, the Law of Multiplication, begins when we give. (See yesterday's encouragement nugget for more on this.)
