Celebrate Jesus, the Savior of the World!

Chosen by God!

He submitted to taking on the sin of the world, past, present, and future, at a cost no one but Him could pay! He gave His life. It was not taken away from Him. He conquered death. The grave couldn’t keep him. JESUS IS ALIVE! He’s as much alive today as He was 2,000 years ago.

Before leaving earth He left specific instructions for His followers, then and now:

He commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey Him. (See Matthew 28:18-20) He also made us a promise, that He would be with us always, even to the end of the age!.

“Abba Father, how did you do it? How did you watch Your Son die when you had the power to save Him?”

“Then this thought came:”

“I know You were thinking about us, but it still had to be difficult to watch Him suffer. Our initial disobedience caused You to have Your Son die for us. Oh what a love!!!”

“Then I got to thinking about His love and remembered that love, real love - sacrificial love, only happens when we're connected to the Holy Spirit.”

The trip that Jesus took to Calvary was planned before the very foundations of the world. God always had a plan to redeem us. When Jesus came to earth, everything He did, everything He said, was done with Calvary on His mind.”

“Even knowing what He would suffer, by taking on the sins of the world, Jesus still chose to suffer the penalty of our sin for us. He had us--you and I--on His mind as He prepared for Calvary. He had doing the will and purpose of His Father on His mind as He prepared for Calvary. He had defeating sin and death on His mind as He prepared for Calvary. He had resurrection on His mind as He prepared for Calvary. He had victory on His mind as He prepared for Calvary.”

Because He submitted to Calvary, rose victoriously from the dead you and I can live! All we have to do is accept the free gift of salvation.
