Chosen by God!

Can the clay tell the Potter He's wrong? Well that's what we're doing every time we complain about who we are, how we look, and what we think is missing. Remember, we are fearfully and wonderfully made! God's Word says it and that settles it.

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” (Psalm 139:13-14 NKJV)

There is something in each of us that God created for us to share with the world. Glory to God! Trust the Potter to mold you. His work is always a Divine Masterpiece!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)

Go down to the potter’s shop, and I will speak to you there.” So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over. Then the Lord gave me this message: “O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand." (Jeremiah 18:2-6 NLT)

What I love about this Scripture is God does not throw us away. He continues to mold us, as we submit to Him, making us more like Him. We can make mistakes but God promises He can work with them, and through them, until we come out just like He wants us too. In the Potters Hands we can be exactly what He planned and purposed for our lives.

“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.” (II Corinthians 4:7 NLT)
