Know Your Season
Chosen by God!
"There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven." (Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMP)
"There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth." (Ecclesiastes 3:1 MSG)
Knowing that God is with us, in it all, no matter what is going on, makes all the difference in the world. Not only is He in this season, but He is also in the next season. Nothing is happening that catches Him by surprise and, in every season there is a time to plant, a time to nurture, a time of growth and a time of rest. This way we're ready for the next season.
We must do the right thing in the season we're in to prepare for the next season. There are no shortcuts to the next season. Each season has its own preparation process, growth plan, and lesson. It's important to know the season you are in.
Just like the seasons in the natural have a progression, winter, spring, summer, fall, so it is in the spiritual. Each of the natural seasons prepare for each other. The same is true in our spiritual seasons. Just know that each season in our lives have a set time of duration that we control, to some degree. How we embrace our season, or not, will impact the timing. That means the longer it takes for us to learn and grow determines the length of the season.
God never wastes any opportunity to make us more like Him! Our seasons, the good and the challenging ones, are about character building. Every season, every challenge we face has a purpose and a destination. Nothing God does, or allows, is happenstance.
