Chosen by God!

I have wondered just what Jesus thinks about how His church is acting. We have an opportunity to shine yet we have been reacting in anger and not love. We don't have to agree with people but we do have to love them. I guess walking in love got canceled during this election season.

Why can't we agree to disagree and keep walking in love? I'm just baffled by some of the posts and comments that are based in such hatred. Breaks my heart and sends me to my knees.

No matter the outcome God is in control. Instead of reacting, as believers, why don't we pray? Our hope is not in whoever is elected President. Our hope is in Jesus. No matter who the President is Jesus is still Savior and Lord. Don't let this election divide the Body of Christ. Instead let's choose to unify in prayer.

I hold on to Proverbs 21:1 NKJV:

"The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes."

And pray according to II Chronicles 7:14 AMPC:

"If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land."

Faith Confession:

I am a present day Nehemiah - repenting for my sins and the sins of America. (See Nehemiah 1:5-10 for Nehemiah's prayer.)
