Relationships

Chosen by God!

"Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17 NASB)

If your relationships aren't sharpening you, causing you to stretch and grow, then stagnation may be setting in. We all know that stagnant water stinks and is good for nothing! It might be time to move. Our relationships should challenge us to become more than we presently are now and to do more than we’re presently doing.

"Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don't help you climb will want you to craw. Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream. Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you." ~Colin Powell~

Ask yourself, are my relationships enriching me? Am I enriching others? Are we spurring each other to greatness?
