God Will Not Change His Mind About You - Walking in Your Calling Day 4

Updated: Jan 7, 2020

Chosen by God!

You may be discouraged. It may seem like nothing is going right. People may rise up against you. It may look like your purpose has been, or is getting ready to be, aborted. Well I have good news for you!

Stand firm in your calling.

“For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]” (Romans 11:29 AMPC)

It doesn’t matter what it looks like. It doesn’t matter what people are saying or even doing. They can’t stop what God is doing. Your responsibility right now in this season of challenge is to trust God and be prepared. Making it happen, opening doors – that’s on God.

Maybe the reason why you’re so stressed, overwhelmed, and ready to give up is because you can’t see a way or make a way. Well I’ve got some more good news. Keep your eyes on Jesus and He will make a way. Stop fighting people and circumstances.

When it seems like you’re being attacked on all sides, no one believe in you, and everywhere you turn it’s another obstacle it can become disheartening but you’re not in this alone.

“Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” (II Chronicles 20:15b NLT)

Trust that what God has called you to do, what He is preparing you to do is irrevocable. God will not withdraw His gifts in your life or His calling on your life. He will not give up on you. So don’t give up on Him. You and God are a majority.

“What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]” (Romans 8:31 AMPC)

What you see as obstacles God sees as opportunities. What you see as people leaving you God sees as pruning so He can send who you need.

Faith Confession:

Lord thank You that Your gifts and calling are irrevocable. If You won’t take them back then no one can take them away. Thank You for gifting me and calling me. I will not be moved by what I see or what I feel. I will keep my eyes on You while trusting You with the outcome.

A Word of Encouragement:

When God calls us we can expect opposition but we can’t allow that opposition to cause us to give up. We must also remember that what He calls us to do He equips us to do – so it doesn’t depend on us. It really depends on Him. We are responsible for obedience and He is responsible for the results. And finally, remember it will come to pass but only in His timing. We have to trust the timing of God. He’s not going to release the fulfillment of purpose until we can walk in it with integrity. So while it might seem like it is taking forever know that if He said it, He will do it.

Be Encouraged! ❤
