Chosen by God!

"Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]." (Hebrews 11:1 AMPC)

You don't have to see it to believe. Just believe it and you will see it!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (II Corinthians 5:7 NKJV)

Like Jehoshaphat, when surrounded on all sides - seemingly no way out - He cried out to God saying, "We don't know what to do but our eyes are on YOU!" (II Chronicles 20:12) We must keep our eyes on Him, and not our circumstances because He requires us to, "Walk by faith and not by sight!"

Even when faced with a seemingly no win situation Jehoshaphat, feared, called a fast, told God about His goodness, reminded Him of His promises, and put His eyes on Him. This is what got God involved in their circumstances. Even in the midst of fear, overwhelming circumstances, not being able to see a way out, God has a solution because He is our Solution! He is never caught by surprise!

I think I'll do what Jehoshaphat did, turn to God, trust Him to deliver me, stand on my faith in God, keep my eyes on Him, do what He says, and praise my way out of the storm right into victory!
