Chosen by God!
No matter what anyone is doing to us God is in control. When we turn to Him in the challenges of life He will show us the blessing in the pain and disappointment. People are going to hate us, excludes us, insult us, reject us because of our relationship with Christ. It’s really not about us. The attack is really about the Jesus in us! This Scripture brings me peace:
“Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.” (Luke 6:22-23 NIV)
I am rejoicing and leaping for joy! All the hatred, exclusion, insults, and rejection bring a reward from God. Obviously if this is happening in my life, or in your, I am, and you are, doing something right! Hallelujah!
“But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!” (Isaiah 54:17 NLT)
No matter what the enemy tries to do to us we have the victory in Jesus. Look to Jesus and He will give us everything we need to walk through the challenges of life while bringing glory to His Name. Ultimately it will work out for our good!
“We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.” (Romans 8:28 AMPC)
