Chosen by God!

"Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life." (Proverbs 4:23 AMPC)

Be very careful who you give access to your heart. We can be greatly impacted by those we allow entryway into our lives, our hearts. Every encounter leaves footprints which can be good or bad. It’s kind of like a hard drive. What you put on it stays on it, even when you believe you have erased the content. It can be found buried on the hard drive. The same is true of our hearts. Every contact is buried in our heart.

These encounters can impact our thoughts. Then thoughts become words and words become actions. Seems innocent but that's how the enemy attacks, through seemingly innocent things. He uses deception making us believe that it’s no big deal. Don't think that who you associate with is harmless and won't impact your life.

“Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.” (I Corinthians 15:33 AMPC)

We can't be careless with our hearts. We must use discernment in all areas of our lives and protect our hearts. Everyone cannot have access to our hearts because it houses our purpose, our destiny, and so much more.

Jesus reminded us:

“Do not give that which is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, for they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." (Matthew 7:6 AMPC)
