Chosen by God!

We all face giants, things we think we can't face or will never defeat. The truth is our giants are defeated. We just need to know what to do when they pop up.

I am learning the importance of what I say when faced with my giants! David spoke to Goliath, the giant that was tormenting Israel, about the bigness of His God. He spoke about the real issue – the fight wasn't against Israel, it was against who they belonged to - God Almighty! And this same truth applies to us. The fight isn't against you, it's against Jesus that lives in you, who you belong to!

"Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the ranks of Israel, Whom you have defied." (I Samuel 17:45 AMPC)

We must recognize the power we have in the Lord of hosts, God Almighty! That power beats anything the enemy can throw at us!

Want to know how to slay your giants? I can do it in a few sentences!

Know God - you must have a relationship with Him.

Trust God - you have to believe He can do what He says.

Run toward your giant - you can't allow fear to paralyze you.

Slay him - use what's at hand and familiar to you. Giant slaying time is not a time to try a new weapon. Tried and true works.

How? God fights through you. It doesn't rely on you. We must understand the rules of engagement.
