Chosen by God!
“But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].” (Galatians 5:22-23 AMPC)
The more we spend quality time in His Presence and His Word the more wisdom and understanding He will give us. This is the way we grow spiritually, especially in the fruit of the Spirit.
Some of the fruit is easier to walk in than others but we must walk in the fruit that means the entire package. It's fruit, each one connected, of the Spirit not Fruits individual parts or choices, of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit working in our lives is a direct reflection of the Holy Spirit in us.
“For each tree is known and identified by its own fruit.” (Luke 6:44a AMPC)
Questions to consider:
What fruit am I producing?
Does my fruit reflect my Abba Father?
Do my interactions with others reflect love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control?
Prayer:
Lord help me to produce the fruit of the Spirit in my interactions with others. This fruit is only evident through the Holy Spirit in my life. Holy Spirit I welcome You into every area of my life. Let me be a person known to reflect love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control regardless of the circumstances I encounter. Let me be so anchored in love that the overflow is Your fruit in my life. Let me be a witness for You without having to say a word because my actions reflect Your fruit in me, that overflows out of me. In Jesus Name, Amen.
