Faith Confession:
Abba, no more trying to be anything I am not to make me look better than I am.
Lord, I realize that I can’t make anything happen, that is worthwhile, without You. I need Your direction, wisdom, and insight into every area of my life. I can’t do this on my own. I need You.
Please forgive me for self-effort, self-promotion, self-centeredness, self-approval, and selfishness. I do not want to operate in pride, criticism, judgment, or impatience with anyone. You created all of us and You love all of us. Let me reflect Your love in all my interactions with people. Let me reflect Your glory.
Lord, do whatever You need to do so You can use me. Not by my power or might but by Your Spirit let me become all I have been created to be. Empty me of me and fill me, to overflowing with You and Your Holy Spirit. I want more of You.
