Chosen by God!

Nothing good is accomplished in anger. So much damage can be done through anger. So when we feel anger trying to overtake us we must ask our loving Abba Father to put a watch over our lips so that the words we speak line up with His Word and blesses others instead of cursing them.

“Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips.” (Psalm 141:3 NLT)

This does not mean we can't be, or won’t become, angry. It means we must not let anger control us. The cost to give into anger is too high a price to pay! Uncontrolled anger can lead to unnecessary sin.

“And don’t sin by letting anger control you. Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil." (Ephesians 4:26-27 NLT)

While we may feel the emotion we can't let it control us. Deal with it promptly so it doesn't fester and cause bitterness to take root. Love and forgiveness are key.
