Chosen by God!
“Is there anyone here who, planning to build a new house, doesn’t first sit down and figure the cost so you’ll know if you can complete it? If you only get the foundation laid and then run out of money, you’re going to look pretty foolish. Everyone passing by will poke fun at you: ‘He started something he couldn’t finish.’” (Luke 14:28-30 MSG)
There is always a cost associated with the choices we make, no matter how attractive the enemy or our reasoning tries to say otherwise. Choose the price you want to pay.
"Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!" (Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT)
Try to ask yourself these questions, after you have weighed, carefully considered, the cost, before making decisions:
Can I pay the cost? Do I want to pay the cost? In light of the cost, what will I choose?
