Chosen by God!

We usually say what we believe.

Throughout Genesis 1 God said, “Let there be,” and everything He spoke came into being!

(See Genesis 1:26-27 NLT)

There is power in our words:

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:23-24 NKJV)

“Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach; good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest. Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.” (Proverbs 18:20-21 MSG)

If only we really could grasp just how powerful our words are. They are a creative force. And, sadly they can be a destructive force. It's our choice!

Let this be our prayer:

Lord, please align my words with Your words so I don’t abort or change my destiny by saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Let me speak faith filled words or be quiet. Help me to truly understand just how powerful my words are so I don’t speak casually but with purpose. Thank You Jesus!

"Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips." (Psalm 141:3 NKJV)

We must be very careful with the words we speak. We're created in the image of God. We have His DNA. He spoke the world into existence and with our words we speak our lives into existence.
