Chosen by God!

“Instead, credit God with your new situation: you are united with Jesus the Anointed. He is God’s wisdom for us and more. He is our righteousness and holiness and redemption. As the Scripture says: ‘If someone wants to boast, he should boast in the Lord.’” (I Corinthians 1:30-31 The Voice)

It is because of God that we have the gift of salvation. He is the One that unites us with Jesus. Jesus is our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. We can only boast in Jesus.

We can’t take credit for our newness in Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is united with the Anointed One, that person is a new creation. The old life is gone—and see—a new life has begun!” (II Corinthians 5:17 The Voice)

United to Christ the old is passed away and we become new creations in Him. We have access to His anointing, God’s wisdom and more. Because of Jesus God sees us as righteous, holy, and redeemed. Because of all that God has done for us our boasting can only be in Him.
