Chosen by God!

“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.” (Proverbs 3:5-7 TPT)

We are faced with many decisions throughout the day. Some need to be made in the moment and others we can take time to consider before we make them. It’s only through developing an intimate relationship with God that we can make the right decisions. We can’t depend on our own opinions because we don’t always see clearly or see fully.

We must choose to become God-dependent. He will guide us and lead us to make the best decisions. We can trust Him with everything. The more time we spend with Him the more we gain His perspective. It is important to spend quality time in the Presence of God and in His Word consistently and daily to gain, and grow in, godly wisdom and understanding.

While we don’t know it all, as a child of God we are connected to the One who does. Value this precious connection and turn to Him in everything!

“As you listen to me, my beloved child, you will grow in wisdom and your heart will be drawn into understanding, which will empower you to make right decisions.” (Proverbs 23:19 TPT)

Faith Confession:

I will listen to You, Abba Father.

I am Your beloved child.

I will grow in wisdom.

My heart is drawn to understanding.

I am empowered by You to make right decisions.
