Chosen by God!

We all know that it's only God and His Word that can truly heal your heart, but only when you let Him. He does His part but you, also, have a part you must do. You must accept His healing touch by faith and align your thoughts, words, and actions with His Word and not your feelings. You must make a choice and answer the question "Do you want to be healed," that Jesus asked the man at the pool of Bethesda. Jesus' question implies that we determine our healing.

Like the man at the Pool of Bethesda, (See John 5:1-13 for the details), you can get comfortable in your sickness, state, infirmity, dysfunction, whatever you want to call it. He couldn’t make it to the pool so he concluded that this would be his life. When Jesus asked him, do you want to be healed, instead of saying yes or no, he made excuses, and placed blame, as to why he wasn’t healed. He couldn’t get to the pool. There was no one to help him. Someone else got there first. He missed the question and the point!

Take a moment and read the story about the man at Bethesda and meditate on it. Ask the Lord to show you how this might apply to your life and what your next step(s) should be. Remember, healing and wholeness is just a prayer away. Your faith can make you whole and heal you.
