It is critical to know your value. When you know who you are then no one can devalue you. Don’t give away your personal power to anyone for any reason!
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)
No relationship is worth accepting abuse, whether it's physical, verbal, emotional, mental, or spiritual. It is unacceptable. It hurts. It's all destructive. Don't allow anyone, man, woman, or child, regardless of authority, importance, or even family devalue you. You are God’s child and this alone makes you priceless.
Acceptance of abuse can be rooted in not accepting yourself, not understanding your value, thinking you deserve the treatment. It's really the result of incorrect thinking and a lack of knowledge. And a lack of knowledge can, and will, destroy you.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. “ (Hosea 4:6 NKJV)
Know your value in Christ and don’t ever discount yourself for anyone, anything, or for any reason!
