Chosen by God!

“We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.” (II Corinthians 4:7-9 NLT)

God has placed treasure in you. It’s brightness in a dark world. Just thinking that God loves you so much He put light and power in the fragile vessel that you are, should make your heart overflow with love and awe for Him. He doesn’t leave you defenseless. He gives you power to face anything that comes.

PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for this light shining in my heart, even though I am like a fragile clay jar, I contain treasure. You have placed treasure in me. It’s power from You and is not from myself nor is it dependent on me. Thank You for equipping me to face troubles and not be crushed. Thank You for reminding me that I can be down but I am never out. Thank You for not abandoning me, for always being with me. No matter what I face, You and I together are a powerful combination. While life may knock me down it cannot destroy me. Thank You that my eternity is sealed through the blood of Jesus and nothing can change that. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
