Chosen by God!

“Obey your spiritual leaders and recognize their authority, for they keep watch over your soul without resting since they will have to give an account to God for their work. So it will benefit you when you make their work a pleasure and not a heavy burden.” (Hebrews 13:17 TPT)

There is a cost to the pouring so please don't take it for granted. What we do, seemingly effortlessly to you, is birthed through quality time in God's Presence and His Word, soaking, studying, praying, and at times in pain and tears.

While you may not pay the price, you reap the benefits and can make a deposit into the lives of those that continually make deposits into your life. This goes beyond thank you, although at times we may not even get that!

Sometimes people can think, and have, that those in ministry are "supposed to" do what they do. While we are called to serve people we are not called to be abused by the people we serve.

Please, value the gift. Don't take advantage of the gift. Pray for the people that operate in their gifts. At times it can be a lonely, trying, and weary road for us. And while we are serving you we are fighting some of the same battles in our own lives, using the same faith we encourage you to use. We are not bulletproof!
