A MADE-UP MIND!

Updated: Aug 29, 2022

“[For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].” (James 1:8 AMPC)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord, give me a made-up mind and an undivided heart. I don’t want to hesitate, be dubious, or irresolute when it comes to You, Your Word, and my life. I don’t want to be unstable, unreliable, or uncertain about how I think, speak, act, feel, or decide.

“Prolonged indecisiveness is a dream killer. Set a destination even while you’re praying, and God will guide you where you need to go.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

We must do something even in the waiting season. When we grow plants we start by planting seeds in the soil, watering them, feeding the soil, placing them in or away from the sun, and just nurturing them as we wait for the seeds to produce. That’s what we should do as we walk in our vision. Do what we know to do while trusting God to show us the next step.

Doing nothing produces nothing so do something towards bringing your vision to life. Also, don’t discount the small steps because they are important. When we walk anywhere, we get there by taking one step at a time. We can think about going from one room to another but if we don’t take a step we won’t get there. A progression of steps will get you to your destination literally and will figuratively cause movement in your vision.

Keep holding on to this promise from the Lord:

I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalm 32:8-9 TPT)
