Eight years ago, on this day, I was ordained, consecrated and set apart, for God's use in ministry. God is so good.
These three verses, personalized, reflect who I am, and who I am called to be, with the help of the Holy Spirit.
"Leisa, consecrated by God, before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5 Amplified)
Leisa, consecrated by God, is determined to study the Lord’s Teachings, live by them, and teach their rules and regulations in my sphere of influence. (Ezra 7:10 God's Word Translation)
"The Almighty Lord will teach Leisa, consecrated by God, what to say, so Leisa, consecrated by God, will know how to encourage weary people. Morning after morning he will wake Leisa, consecrated by God, to listen like a student." (Isaiah 50:4 GWT)
(Note: Leisa means, consecrated by God! Sometimes you just have call yourself who you are!)
To everyone who participated, and continues to participate, in prayer and in person, in my life - thank you. There are no words for the gift you are to me.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank God for His faith in me, and His overall faithfulness toward me. He's just AWESOME!
