Treasured by God!
Today I celebrate the life and legacy of a phenomenal woman, my mother Phillippa Frances Jaundoo. I give thanks for the woman I am because of her. Her legacy of love and life lives on in me. I am my mother's daughter and for that I am forever grateful.
It has been 12 years since mom’s home going. I can't believe how quickly, and yet how slowly, time marches on.
My heart is reminded that her legacy of love remains a part of me. Mom lived in the moment and enjoyed life, something I strive to do. You’d be proud of this accomplishment mom.
One memory that is forever seared in my heart is her response to being diagnosed with cancer. She said, "Baby, I'm not afraid to die. I know Jesus and I know where I'm going." Then she hugged me and told me to stop crying.
I give thanks for the woman I am because of you. Your legacy of love lives on in me.
I miss you. I love you.
No more struggles. No more pain. Living a life of continual praise and worship in the presence of Almighty God.
