BIRTHDAY MONTH CHRONICLES! (Day 20)

THE WONDER OF ME!

(Side Note: While I've written this in the first person it applies to everyone. As you read this see it as you speaking to you. Let the power of God's Word wash over you so you can see yourself clearly!)

I have to remind myself that I am who God says I am, so I don’t get it twisted. The world does not get to define who I am! While I am in this world, I am not of this world. I am passing through for a short time. My eternal destination is heaven, not earth! I just can’t get too comfortable here or I will lose sight of my God given purpose.

This is how God made me according to Psalm 139 verses 13-14 in Voice Translation which says:

“For You shaped me, inside and out. You knitted me together in my mother’s womb long before I took my first breath. I will offer You my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.”

Just like my insides were intricately woven together, so was my heart, the essence of who I am, and my personality, the expression of who I am, have also been knitted together to make me the wonderfully complex woman I am.

Because of Who God is, who He created me to be, and what He created me to do, I should have a grateful heart and celebrate the uniqueness and excellence in which I was created. Every detail of my being was created in excellence. I should be filled with wonder and awe at the wonderfully complex, distinctly amazing, and superbly marvelous, woman I am. Once I can carry this reality in my heart, I will never belittle myself, desire another woman’s gift or anointing. Instead, I will blossom, and grow, where I have been planted celebrating who I am, valuing the gift and anointing I carry, knowing I am the one God entrusted to carry this specific gift and anointing. And no one can carry it exactly like I can!

I must learn how to see myself like God sees me and that only comes by defining myself by what the Word says about Me and not what the world says about me.

God has deposited some powerful things in me. He has knit purpose my DNA.

Stay tuned, because God isn't finished with me yet!

See these Scriptures to define how God sees you:

(Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10; Psalm 139:13-14; Isaiah 43:4; Ephesians 1:7; II Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 1:4; I Corinthians 1:30 and I Peter 2:9 to see the wonder that is you!)
