"But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired." (Isaiah 40:31 AMPC)
Lately, I keep seeing this Scripture, in some form or another, everywhere. I spent some serious quality time with the Lord around this Scripture recently. I studied the Hebrew meaning of key words and wrote in my journal until my fingers felt like they wouldn't move, or I'd ever be able to write, again! Lol! Yet, almost every single day since that encounter I keep seeing this Scripture everywhere.
Here's some of my notes from my time with this Scripture:
Strong's Definitions: קָוָה qâvâh, kaw-vaw'; a primitive root; to bind together (perhaps by twisting), i.e. collect; (figuratively) to expect:—gather (together), look, patiently, tarry, wait (for, on, upon). (Strong's H6960)
My Faith Confession on Waiting:
I will wait on God:
Patiently
Expectantly
Eagerly
Hopefully
Trustingly
Because I am:
Bound to God
Twisted together with God
Holding tightly to God
Focusing on God
In the waiting I will:
Be transformed
Renew my strength and power
Move closer to God
Run my race
Not grow weary, get tired, or give up
Walk, when necessary knowing I will get there
Thank You, Abba Father, for being with me, leading me, and taking great care of me every step of the way. I am not alone in the waiting.
"And behold, I am with you and will keep (watch over you with care, take notice of) you wherever you may go, and I will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done all of which I have told you." (Genesis 28:15 AMPC)
Faith Confession:
God is with me.
God keeps watch over me with care.
God takes notice of me wherever I go.
God will not leave me.
God will do all that He has told me He would do.
I believe I will sit with this Scripture some more today because obviously God has more to say to me and for me to learn. I have learned that when I see a word over and over, I need to pay attention! There's something God wants me to know, something He is preparing me for, or something I need to do. My response is always, speak Lord, Your servant is listening and ready to obey.
Be Encouraged! ❤
