In Ohio now so new porch location, same chronicles!

"All things are legitimate [permissible–and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life]." (1 Corinthians 10:23 AMPC)

I've been slowly, and methodically, as directed by Holy Spirit, stepping away from things that do not bring me closer to my God assignment for this season. While some of these things were good, and permissible, they were not always a God assignment for me.

I've learned that even doing good things, needed things, can be a distraction from doing God things. While they need to be done they didn't need to be done by me. I have also learned that serving in the wrong place can take up space God has assigned to someone else. Just because I can, doesn't mean I should.

I am steadfastly, and determinedly, following after destiny and purpose, in this Fall into Winter season of my life. I don't want to be distracted as I enlarge my capacity to listen, hear, and obey what God is saying in this season! I want to be a part of what He is doing.

I'm in a season of transition which includes doing some new things which will take me out of my comfort zone and I'm boldly and unapologetically stepping into it. Let the adventures with God begin!
