Treasured by God!
In the midst of all that is going on we cannot lose hope. God is still in control. His love has not, cannot, and will not fail. Don't forget, or discount God's love for you. Remember clearly who the enemy is and don't let him distract and destroy you or allow him to use you to distract or destroy others! People are not the problem, sin is the problem. People manifest the problem when they choose being ruled by their flesh instead of love.
If we are not careful our emotions could cause us to be used by the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. Don't be a pawn in the plot of the enemy. Always choose love. Jesus commanded us to love and Holy Spirit empowers us to love. We just have to choose love. I'm not saying don't act. What I am saying is, let your actions be grounded in love. Love never fails.
"You’re familiar with the old written law, ‘Love your friend,’ and its unwritten companion, ‘Hate your enemy.’ I’m challenging that. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that."
