EMBRACING CHANGE!

Updated: Aug 29, 2022

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (II Corinthians 5:17 NLT)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I am not who I was. I may look the same, but I am not the same. My relationship with Jesus made me brand new in Him. It made me who I was always meant to be, God’s well-loved daughter.

“Everything is in a constant state of change, and nothing can stop it. Change is both evidence that we are alive and proof that we are finite – because everything has it’s own season, and nothing on this earth lasts forever.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I must be comfortable with change even when I am comfortable with where I’m at and with what I am doing. I know change is about growth and moving to new levels. If I am not experiencing change then I’m not growing.

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMPC)

FAITH CONFESSION:

There’s a time for everything. Lord, help me to recognize changing seasons and to move with the changes instead of fighting them. Help me to stay in sync with You. I know if I move with You I move in safety and power.

I can face change because God promises:

“Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 AMPC)

“Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 AMPC)

“God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19 AMPC)

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)

“And the Lord said, My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14 AMPC)
