Forgiveness doesn't mean we pick up where we left off or that things will be the same. While they can be that's not always how it works out.
Forgiveness means forgiveness. It doesn't come with automatic reconnection. Forgiveness and reconnection are not synonymous. Sometimes they work together and sometimes, most times, they don't. Be at peace with this.
