GOD, ME, AND TEA TIME!

Today I've been pondering the things I've heard God speak to me and show me for this season. Just sitting in my prayer room and envisioning their fulfillment, keeping hope alive, and walking where He leads.

"But Mary was keeping within herself all these things (sayings), weighing and pondering them in her heart." (Luke 2:19 AMPC)

We must stop and ponder the things God whispers to us, the promises He makes to us, and what we read in Scripture.

Ponder - Strong's Definition:

συμβάλλω symbállō, soom-bal'-lo; from G4862 and G906; to combine, i.e. (in speaking) to converse, consult, dispute, (mentally) to consider, (by implication) to aid, (personally) to join, attack:—confer, encounter, help, make, meet with, ponder. (Strong's G4820)

PON'DER, v.t. [L. pondero, from pondo, pondus, a pound; pendeo,pendo, to weigh.]

1. To weigh in the mind; to consider and compare the circumstances or consequences of an event, or the importance of the reasons for or against a decision.

2. To view with deliberation; to examine.

(Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

God speaks so gently. I'm always trying to listen for Him, to see His imprint on my day, and especially in my heart. Sometimes I don't get it right and I am so thankful when He gives reminders to get my attention. I'm also thankful for the multiple chances He gives me to get it right and for not giving up on me.

I want to encourage you today to:

Hold on to the promises of God, what you heard God whisper to your heart, even if it seems like nothing is happening. Hold on to His calling, while trusting His process. The Word says His gifts and callings are without repentance. He doesn't change His mind about us. We can't surprise Him! He already knew the choices and mistakes we'd make and He still called us! Don't give up on yourself or your dream. Choose to walk in it, boldly!

"For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]" (Romans 11:29 AMPC)

It doesn't matter what people say or think. Just do what God has called you to do in the way He has called you to do it. No explanations are needed. Keep pondering His promises and trusting His words to you. They will come to pass if you don't give up!

"And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint." (Galatians 6:9 AMPC)

Be Encouraged! ❤

I know that’s so true that it’s not to late to see your dream fulfilled, yet it is so hard to believe that there is still hope at my age. I know age doesn’t matter in my head, but my heart gets faint so easily.

Replying to

I so get that as I've battled with that myself. I remind myself age doesn't matter to God! I also believe, since I'm still here, He can use me. ❤
