GOD, ME, AND TEA TIME! (JUST SAY THANK YOU!)

When was the last you thanked the minister, ministry, or person, who has consistently poured into your life? It's not just about money, it's about writing a note of thanks, calling them, encouraging them, maybe taking them to eat a meal, praying for them, and yes you can financially support their ministry, if God leads you to do so. Ask God how you can bless those that selflessly bless you, give to you, care for your spiritual growth, and care for you. Those that pull on our gifts, our time, our counsel should be moved to support the ministry we bring whether at a gathering or when it is one-on-one. The Word is clear on this: "Let him who receives instruction in the Word [of God] share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his support]." (Galatians 6:6 AMPC) Let's be aware that the gifts ministers give, that may be taken for granted, costs them daily to give. We spend time in prayer, the Word, preparation, seeking God for those He's given us to impact. I know personally the time it takes me to write for my website and Daily Encouraging Words by Leisa and you would be surprised if I broke it down to you. It's a labor of love - love for God, His Word, and His people.
