"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go." (Joshua 1:5, 7 AMPC)
Sometimes people trample our hearts, feelings, minds, and emotions like it was no big deal. They dont see anything wrong with what they've said or done and even wonder why you do! You're left to try and repair the damage and move on with your life.
For them life goes on. For us we can be fractured in time, frozen in a moment. Sadly, many don't see the fracture but it's there.
Let me speak a word of encouragement to you:
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows]." (Psalm 147:3 AMPC)
God sees.
God hears.
God cares.
God will heal.
God is with you.
The relationship may never be the same but if we choose forgiveness and walking in love, we win. We're better, stronger, and reflecting Jesus well.
And the angel also said, “You are now pregnant and will give birth to a son. You are to name him Ishmael (which means ‘God hears’), for the Lord has heard your cry of distress. Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord, who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” So that well was named Beer-lahai-roi (which means “well of the Living One who sees me”). It can still be found between Kadesh and Bered. (Genesis 16:11, 13-14 NLT)
