REST R = Relax in Him E = Encourage yourself in Him S = Seek His face T = Think about Him REST Sometimes we just have to step away to rest and get perspective, God's perspective. HERE'S SOME SCRIPTURES ON REST: Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat."(Mark 6:31 NLT) "So we conclude that there is still a full and complete Sabbath-rest waiting for believers to experience. As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them. So then we must be eager to experience this faith-rest life, so that no one falls short by following the same pattern of doubt and unbelief." (Hebrews 4:9-11 TPT) “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” (Matthew 11:28-30 TPT) "Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads and look; and ask for the eternal paths, where the good, old way is; then walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it!" (Jeremiah 6:16 AMPC) "Now, because of you, Lord, I will lie down in peace and sleep comes at once, for no matter what happens, I will live unafraid!" (Psalms 4:8 TPT) "When all the surrounding kingdoms heard that the Lord himself had fought against the enemies of Israel, the fear of God came over them. So Jehoshaphat’s kingdom was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side." (2 Chronicles 20:29-30 NLT) Now I say: Good Night! May you have sweet sleep and restoring rest! May you begin your day refreshed, renewed, revitalized, and restored. #LeisaWilkins #EncouragementInTheWord Be Encouraged! ❤ www.leisawilkins.com
