Treasured by God!

"HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!" (Psalm 91:1‭-‬2 AMPC)

This is where I'm parked:

I. Am. Tired!

The things I'm seeing in my news feed are so discouraging and inflammatory, one could lose heart. People I know call Jesus Lord, saying things, supporting things that no believer should be on board with.

Hatred is not of the Lord! Injustice is not of the Lord. Saying slavery was a blessing to white America is not of the Lord! Apologizing after saying it doesn't make it go away because the Word of God says, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Well let me tell you people, your hearts are speaking loudly!

Can we all take a minute and just be quiet! Breathe. Pray. Then ask Holy Spirit to proofread your post before posting. Is it going to edify or crush? Is it going to sow peace or promote discord? Does it reflect God's heart or your own biases, because if you're a believer you're held to a higher standard. The only opinion we get must align with the Word!

Don't allow yourself to be used by the enemy to endorse hate. Remember Jesus? He commanded us to love! So ask yourself, does this promote love?

In the meantime I'm going to hangout some more with Jesus because you all have tired my heart, mind, and spirit out! ENOUGH! Maybe we all should take a nap and a timeout like Elijah did! Maybe we will gain a godly perspective!

Be Encouraged! ❤
