Treasured by God!

Well, the Lord told me He was shining a light on hearts exposing who people really are, not who they pretend to be. I'm going to add, who they think they are.

This pandemic put us all in different, even overwhelming circumstances where we had no control over choices, unexpected losses on many fronts and sometimes simultaneously, and so much more. It was the perfect storm.

I had to take a second look at exposure and hearts. Exposure is not a bad thing. I think the light is showing us that our foundations weren't as solid as we thought. This exposure gives us a chance to assess, regroup, and rebuild on a more solid foundation.

Jesus is our sure foundation.

"Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” (Matthew 7:24‭-‬27 NLT)
