KNOWING YOUR WHAT AND WHY!

Updated: Jun 12

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” (Acts 13:2 NKJV)

Key thoughts:

  • Minister to the Lord

  • Fast and pray

  • Then God speaks –

  • Separate unto God (YOUR NAME)

  • For the work I, Almighty God, has called her/him (YOUR NAME) to

"I discovered then that the key to life is not only knowing what you are but also why you are. It is more important to know why you were born than to know the fact that you were born." (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

I must know the what and the why of being here. I will minister to You, Lord, seeking Your face so I can walk in the fullness of Your what and why for me. I want to do the work You created me to do.

“You should know who you are – that is, your origin and purpose in God – as well as your abilities and plans for the future.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Thank You Abba Father for knowing who I and, my origin and purpose, and what abilities and plans You have for me. As I seek Your face, thank You for revealing all of it to me, my origin, purpose, abilities, and plans. Thank You for equipping me to fulfill Your purpose for my life. My eyes are on You. I trust You to lead and guide me along the best path for my life.

I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalm 32:8-9 TPT)
