Treasured by God! This is so true. Don't expect people to read your minds. Ask questions. Listen. Try to understand. Your goal should be understanding and communicating, not what your response or rebuttal should be. It is not about "winning" or berating someone. It is about sharing feelings, learning, growing, and having healthy relationships. Nothing, absolutely nothing, gets resolved through silence. Take time to calm down, to share without anger or rancor. Your goal should always be understanding and restoration. Ask the Lord to show you who you may need to open the lines of communication with. It is not God's best for His children to be at odds with each other. We are called to love, to bear one another's burdens, to restore. It doesn't mean things go back to the way they were, it just means you've closed a door to the enemy so he can’t steal, kill, and destroy in your life. Remember, God hates dissension within the body of Christ. Do your part to promote and maintain love and peace at ALL costs!
