REPRESENT JESUS WELL!

Treasured by God!
I've snoozed so many people because of the craziness - political and otherwise, the profanity, and the purely hate filled posts running rampant on social media. Sadly, too many were believers and that broke my heart. This is not a good witness for Jesus and in no way draws people to Him.
Thankfully, I know Jesus personally because if I didn't some of what I've seen, and heard, would make me want to go in the opposite direction. I mean, if we believe Jesus is our defense why are we attacking people for opinions that differ from ours? If God is love, why are we spewing hate? More importantly, why aren't we part of the solution, salt and light, instead of part of the problem?
It saddens me that people's hatred seems stronger than God's command to love others. I guess His decree that they will know we are His disciples by our love could be showing that many profess it but may be unwilling to live it, or maybe they aren't His disciples at all? Could they have forgotten Holy Spirit is here to help us in those seemingly impossible moments? We've tried our way to no avail, maybe it's time to do it God's way so we can get God's results.
When the need to be right is stronger than God's command to love there's a serious disconnect from the Living Vine - Jesus Christ!
