Treasured by God!
There is a responsibility for all who are called by God and are His disciples. We cannot sugarcoat truth or compromise the truth of God's Word to make it, or us, palatable or acceptable to others. This means we will look different to others and stand alone.
Remember, God set us apart, so we are right where we are supposed to be.
"You have been set apart as holy to the Lord your God, and he has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be his own special treasure." (Deuteronomy 14:2 NLT)
Remember also that God chose us!
"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." (I Peter 2:9-10 NKJV)
We must speak when Holy Spirit directs us and trust Him with the results. We cannot fear. Fear will paralyze us and we will not complete our assignment.
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 AMPC)
Speak God's truth always. Lace it with God's love. Then leave the results to God. We are not the author of transformation, God is.
