Treasured by God!
We say the blood covers and transforms yet we continually remind people of who they used to be instead of believing who they've become because of that blood! I wonder, could your life take that same scrutiny? If your sins, your forgiven sins, were blasted on social media and everyone discounted who you've become because of an encounter with Jesus, how would you feel?
"However, when they persisted with their question, He raised Himself up and said, Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her." (John 8:7b AMPC)
Why are we are unwilling to give others a chance at being new creatures in Christ? Why are we so willing to be a stumbling block instead of a helping hand while continuing to declare Jesus saves!
"Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17 AMPC)
Jesus can transform lives. Either we believe it or we don't! From some of what I've seen posted I think people believe it for themselves and not others! But guess what? Jesus died for everyone, even those you don't like or you don't think deserve it. I think it may be time for a heart check.
