Treasured by God!
If your church has no problem cashing your tithe check but is not only silent, but absent about racism then they are part of the problem!
The Word tells us we are destroyed by lack of knowledge. The Word tells us the role of believers, the church, which is to love, rejoice with those who rejoice and cry with those who cry. It also tells us to stand against injustice.
So if you're silent in all of this you are complicit. My dollars will not support a church that is silent when I'm being persecuted. The Word tells us God gives shepherds after His heart. If your shepherd is silent then there is a problem.
Jesus left the 99 for the one. Jesus reached out to the lost, the disenfranchised, and those deemed unlovable and unwanted! So what is your church doing? I'm hearing too many of my brothers and sisters who attend multicultural churches telling me their pastors are silent, even when trying to talk to them one-on-one. You have hurting sheep you are ignoring. When you look up and they are gone know you were the problem! Shame on you.
