"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor is a servant or slave above his master. It is sufficient for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant or slave like his master. If they have called the Master of the house Beelzebub [[a]master of the dwelling], how much more will they speak evil of those of His household. So have no fear of them; for nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, or kept secret that will not become known." (Matthew 10:24-26 AMPC)
Sadly, we will always be targets for attacks as Jesus followers. He was attacked, so we will be too. We're not exempt. All we have to do is do what Jesus did, be about our Father's business.
"And He said to them, How is it that you had to look for Me? Did you not see and know that it is necessary [as a duty] for Me [a]to be in My Father’s house and [occupied] about My Father’s business?" (Luke 2:49 AMPC)
Sometimes, we have to accept that people don't want to understand, reconcile, or let go of their beliefs. Entrust them to the Lord and keep being focused on Jesus. Everything does not require a response from us. And sometimes we have to disconnect from people. During that time, trust God to work on and in them and to work on and in you.
This walk isn't easy, and I'm thankful we don't walk alone. Holy Spirit will lead and guide us along the right path and give us the right words. Sometimes silence is the answer.
Be Encouraged! ❤
