Chosen by God!

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28-30 MSG)

Jesus invites us to rest in Him. It's an invitation that we can either choose, or reject. The question is, are you tired, worn out, or burned out period? If so, Jesus is the answer. It doesn't mean we won't have trials, conflict, or challenges. He doesn't wipe that away. What He does is give us His peace and rest in the storms of life. We'll be able to face them boldly in His strength.

We do have choices. I love that about our Heavenly Daddy. He doesn't force us. The more we learn of His Word, hiding it in our heart, the easier it becomes for our choices to line up with His Word. To God be the glory!
