Chosen by God!

Sometimes life can overwhelm us and cause us to take a deep breath. I just wanted to share this word, from the Word, to encourage someone, maybe me, this morning.

"I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]" (John 16:33 Amplified)

Right where we are right now, is not a surprise to Jesus. We might be surprised, but He is not. He's reassured us, for such a time as this, that we can have peace, in the midst of our storm.

Relax, God's got this and He's got you!

"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, 7 casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]." (I Peter 5:6-7 AMP)
