Chosen by God!
“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.” (Isaiah 40:31 AMP)
There is something to do in the waiting.
Expect God to show up Look for God to show up Place our Hope in Him
When we do these things He will renew our strength, give us the ability to wait, which is actually preparation time, and give us the power to face whatever comes our way, while waiting.
He will give us the ability to rise above the challenges we’re facing. You see eagles don’t run from a storm, they use the storm to take them higher heights. The winds of the storm lifts them higher, doing more of the work. All the eagle has to do is glide.
Storms have purpose. They cause us to locate where we are spiritually, then move us closer to God. It’s at this point we get the direction we need soar above our problems instead of getting dragged down by them.
Jesus gave us this reassurance in the storms of life:
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16:33 Amplified)
So the question is, how would we act if we knew, and really believed, that we had the victory in whatever we’re facing today? Well, act like that, because in Him we have already won, overcome, walk in victory, and so much more!
“Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.” (Psalm 27:14 AMP)
Remember, there is purpose is waiting and waiting is a time for action. Don’t give up. Victory is yours!
