Chosen by God!

"So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten." (John 6:12-13 NKJV)

The Gospel of John tells the story of the Jesus feeding a crowd of 5,000 plus people. He did this with a little boy’s lunch, two pieces of fish and five loaves of bread. I've always focused on the miracle of multiplication and missed something very significant. There were LEFTOVERS! Jesus doesn't just meet the immediate need, He provides for the future need. All it takes is connection and obedience.

The Law of Multiplication is based on taking what's in your hand, seed, and allowing Jesus to use it. That means we have to give up what we have, what we know, to Jesus, trusting Him to multiply it, use it, and provide for the needs of all concerned.

If we continue to hold on to what we have, then what we have is all we will ever have. Increase only comes through giving. Seed must be planted before we will ever reap a harvest. This principle works in natural thing AND spiritual things.

The purpose of the Law of Multiplication is provision, for the giver AND the receiver. Hoarders do not multiply. When we practice the Law of Multiplication God is responsible for the results, not us! HALLELUJAH. That takes the pressure off of us, and the fear out of us! God is faithful. He cannot, will not lie. And, Jeremiah 1:12 reminds us that He watches over His Word to perform it.
